The stay for summertime visit certainly was attractive and competitive value for money. The location was stunning and awesome, and we could reach Just Imagine Gallery by walking.

Nice design of interiors in apartment. A fridge, an electric kettle, and a microwave oven in the bedroom. Amazing location close enough to the best bakery, the waterfront with a line of pohutukawa trees framing the view across the Bay to Paihia, and the island of Russell.

The hotel has an unbeatable location, next door to Just Imagine Gallery. And it's nestled in a really good building near the centre, close to all the lovely local shops and the harbour front.

We had a lovely stay at this venue. The location is perfect, right by the waterfront with easy access to everything. We appreciated the well-appointed rooms with comfortable bedding and tidy bathrooms. The service by the staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful.

I was there for 1 night and ate at in-house restaurant for dinner. The view of the ocean from the window was magic, loved it.

Very central location in a quaint town. Near the best bakery in town-croissants for brekkie, Right on the waters edge with options to dine on the verandah and Right on the harbour.

The hotel is located in a shared courtyard with semi privacy screens, providing a cozy and intimate setting. The beautifully restored historic hotel offers stunning views of the waterfront, with outside tables that overlook the beach. The rooms are lovely, with small balconies and a spacious bathroom. The service is commendable, with helpful and friendly staff. The breakfast selection is excellent, and the dining area has a charming atmosphere with an open fire.

There were some issues with communication regarding dinner reservations, which caused inconvenience.

The venue is reasonably spacious and tidy with a great value and genuinely friendly and amiable staff. Adequate breakfast, newly renovated apartment. Amazing, incredible location on the Bay of Islands. Also - adjacent to the waters edge with options to dine on the verandah or indoors, and Paihia after a gap of three years.

I got great for the money at this hotel. I ate at a beautiful restaurant with really great staff. The beds were comfortable and the view of the bay was MAGIC. The location was historic - ease of access to Russell Beach. Furthermore, the area was interesting.

We had a wonderful stay at The Duke in Russell. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. The accommodation was comfortable and the location was ideal. The free WiFi was a real bonus, and the colonial building was beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the complimentary biscuits and quality teas, and the soft leather armchairs in the bar were a great spot to watch the rugby. We plan to return!
